Why have a Coach?
If you are an athlete you have a Sports Coach, if you want to get fit you might have a personal trainer to motivate you, a tennis coach to help you to improve your game. People have a Coach for all sorts of specialist areas of their life to improve their hobbies or interest but often ignore the most important area – life itself. Life – like fitness and sport needs energy and commitment to make it better. So the question is – are you living the life you want? If the answer is ‘no’ you need a Coach.
What a coach can do for you
Sometimes we reach a crossroad in life and we are not sure which way to go. At times like this wouldn’t it be great to have a Coach who only has your best interest at heart.
The relationship between Coach and client aims to unblock your potential by accessing your inner resources, using effective questions, challenging you, stimulating and guiding you to find the solutions you are looking for.
You may have friends and family who you can talk things over with, but they have a bias. Working with a Life Coach will help you get what you really want.
The role of the coach
Coaching is a collaborative process where the Coach’s job is to facilitate change. A Coach cannot solve your problems or tell you what to do. Coaching will help you understand your issues and come up with possible solutions….. At Coaching for Life we believe that:
- Honesty creates trust
- Coaching creates change
- Integrity is standing by your values
- Synergy is real partnership
- Trust comes from being sincere, competent and reliable.
